- Aishwary DI went here since I wanted to explore the underground music scene in Nairobi. It was exceptional! The artists were great (with beats of reggae), the crowd lively and the ambience just perfect! Highly recommended for everyone.
- Anthony MDagoz is an artist venue with live music played from Wednesday through to Sunday. Wednesday Friday and Saturday have dedicated artise or band playing. Thursday and Sunday have jam sessions with random musicians playing. You have to go to Dagoz to see. Go in different days. You never know what's going to happen or what musician will turn up for jam session. That element of surprise is what makes Dagoz one of the most exciting music venues in Nairobi. The drinks are well priced so that you can spare enough to tip musicians that are playing. It's may feel like a small venue, but that enhances intimacy between the musician on stage and the audience. This venue has taught me that Kenya is rich with music and musicians that are not getting their due air play on radio.
- Kyle DDagos is music. It's the bar for the artists. For those that love live music in a more raw form. For those who want to see music played for enjoyment of those playing it, more so than for the crowd. It's a wholesome place. A genuine one. Cozy, quaint, down what seems like a sketchy sidestreet. But it's a gem.
